I made something

The first thing I said after receiving my new camera and the screams settled down was “Now I need a camera strap slip cover!” I went online a few days later and went in search for the perfect one. Problem is, we just spent a butt load of money on this fancy camera and there was no way I was going to spend the money to buy a slip cover. So, while I was Wal-Mart getting groceries, I headed over to the fabric department. I found this beautiful fabric and snatched it up.  When I got home I went on a hunt for a tutorial and found this one from Amy at Priddy Creations. Then I had to go back to Wal-Mart for some fusible fleece.

After printing the tutorial, I got to work.
This is what happens when you spend an afternoon sewing with a 12 year old. You leave her alone to work on a section of the pattern and a week later, you find this.

Yep, that’s a smiley face made out of pins and the tomato hangey thing was pinned down.
A few hours later, I had my very own camera strap slip cover.

Oh how I love dots; and the color pink; and the color brown; and pink and brown spots!

Do you want to see it in action? Yeah, I thought so!

*sigh*

Is anybody tired of me talking about my camera yet? No? Good, cause I’ve got lots of pictures to show you later!
